Telling Our Story, Honouring Our Brilliance
I’m a filmmaker deeply committed to telling powerful African stories—stories that celebrate our innovation, resilience, and cultural brilliance. That’s why I directed and executive produced Freemen, a Showmax Original documentary on the Igbo Apprenticeship System.
To me, it wasn’t just a film project—it was a way to shift narratives, affirm our greatness, and spotlight a unique African business model that has transformed countless lives.
I believe Africa’s true wealth lies not in our natural resources, but in our people—their brilliance, heart, and ingenuity. Through storytelling, I aim to honour that wealth and help the world see us for who we really are.
